Today, I took a little bike ride down to the La Salle train yard. It is a bit over five miles, and it was rather cold (~30 F) on a nice sunny day.

I spent a good bit wandering around the yards while workers were linking trains together, found some pretty great art.

The best part of the day came when I was walking a mile or so back to my bike- I stopped to take some photos of trailers in a dirt parking lot.

While I was doing so, a trucker nearly ran me down reversing his jacked-up F-350 to come ‘pay me a visit’-

“So whatchu think yer doin’?”

“Taking photos.”

“Oh yeah, huh? Who you with?”

“Who am I with?”

“Yeah. Who you with?”

“I’m with myself… I’m a photographer. I like to take pictures.”

“Take pictures for your self?”

“Yes…?”

(Shaking head) “Whell, I guess alright then. Get off mah lot.”

So here are some no-name trucking company’s highly protected trade secrets for “y’all.” Hah.
